Langworth ships all products from its United States distribution center in Cary, Illinois to the following global destinations:

SHIPPING COSTS BY REGION

Shipping to the Contiguous 48 States (Continental United States)

We offer significantly discounted ground and air shipping options from FedEx and USPS. As an added benefit, customers in the continental United States can also take advantage of our economical Super Saver shipping options: 

FREE Shipping - if your order total is over $99

$5 Flat Rate Shipping - if your order total is under $99

Langworth's Super Saver Shipping program has no fine print, no exceptions, and it is automatically offered at checkout. Other on-line stores claim free shipping, but look closely at their shipping policy and many times you will find dozens of exceptions that prevent you from receiving the discounted shipping. Our policy is simple - ANY product in our store which costs more than $99 will ship for free. ANY order reaching $99 will ship for free. If your order does not reach the $99 threshold for free shipping, we will ship your order for $5. It's that simple! 

While Langworth makes every attempt to ship orders on the same day they are placed, during peak periods we must prioritize the shipment of orders based upon the shipping method chosen by our customers. On peak days we will ship Fed-Ex Next-Day Air and USPS Priority Express packages first, followed by Fed-Ex 2nd-Day Air and USPS Priority Mail, followed by Fed-Ex 3-Day and FedEx Ground. Once all the paid shipping orders are shipped, we process all orders which have selected Free Shipping or Super Saver Shipping as the shipping method. If you want to ensure the fastest possible processing time of your order, especially during peak days (Mondays) and peak season (November to December), we recommend that you choose a paid shipping option during checkout.  

Note: Free shipping and $5 flat rate shipping are only available when shipping to an address in the contiguous 48 United States.

Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, and APO / FPO Addresses

Super Saver Free Shipping and $5 Flat Rate Shipping are not available to residents of Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, and service members at APO/FPO addresses. Customers in these locations will be charged the actual computed shipping rate at the time of checkout. 

Shipping to Canada and Mexico

Customers in Canada and Mexico will have the option of selecting either Economy Post International, USPS Priority Mail, FedEx International Ground, FedEx International Economy, or FedEx International Priority (Air) for their shipments. If your item is too large for USPS, you will only be presented with a FedEx shipping option. Your order will be labeled "hobby parts" as default for customs. The brokerage fee for USPS shipments is a flat $5 (charged by your local Post), brokerage fees for FedEx International Ground can range from a few dollars to upwards of $30, and there are no brokerage fees for FedEx International Priority or Economy. If you are shipping small items and you do not mind waiting one to two weeks for your package, we offer a very low cost shipping method called Economy Post International (EPI). Langworth does not collect sales tax or VAT during checkout, so you will be required to pay applicable taxes when you receive your shipment. Batteries can be shipped using FedEx International Ground only.

Shipping to Asia, Central America, Europe, Oceania, and South America

Overseas international shipments can be shipped using either Economy Post International (EPI), United States Postal Service (USPS) Priority Mail International or FedEx International Economy. Economy Post International is our most economical option for shipping small parts. Packages sent via EPI have an average transit time of 7 to 14 days. Packages shipped via USPS Priority Mail International have an average transit time of 6 to 10 business days and include basic package tracking. Packages shipped via FedEx International Economy have an average transit time of 2 to 4 days, and all shipments include detailed package tracking. None of our carriers will charge a brokerage fee when shipping to this region. Customers will be required to pay any applicable sales tax or VAT upon receipt of the shipment. 99% Of all Langworth products are duty-free, so import duties will typically be $0. Batteries can only be shipped internationally by FedEx or USPS if the model (boat, car, or plane) in which it is intended to be used is purchased on the same order. Shipping batteries Internationally without a model is not permitted by any shipping carrier.

SAME DAY SHIPPING CUTOFFS

The cutoff for same day processing of expedited shipping orders is 2pm Central Time Monday through Friday. Expedited shipping includes FedEx 3-Day Express Saver, FedEx 2 Day Air, FedEx Next Day Air, FedEx International Priority, FedEx International Economy, USPS Priority Mail, and USPS Priority Mail Express. If it is after 2pm and you would like your expedited shipping order processed, please call (do not email) our customer service department at 224-633-9090, and a representative will advise you if same day shipping is possible. Please note that our shipping carriers leave our warehouse at approximately 4pm Monday through Friday, so no orders can be shipped after this time and no orders are shipped on the weekend. 

LOCAL PICKUP / WILL CALL

We offer local pickup for customers who live in Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin. If you would like to collect your package at the Langworth warehouse, please select "Will Call : Local Pickup at Cary, IL Warehouse" for the shipping method during checkout, and your package will be waiting for you upon arrival. Local pickup hours are between 09:00 and 16:00 Central Time Monday through Friday.

DUTIES AND TAXES

United States - Orders shipped to Illinois will be charged 7.0% sales tax at checkout.

International Regions - Langworth does not collect sales tax, VAT, or duties during checkout for international orders. Customers outside of the United States will be required to pay applicable duties and taxes upon receipt of merchandise. Both merchandise and shipping fees are taxable. The majority of our products are duty-free to most global destinations.
